This beautiful little café’ in the Heights, nestled on a quiet block, has a big plus – a beautiful, outdoor patio with tables for small and large parties alike. However, you’ll be just as happy inside with comfy banquette seating and plush pillows among the pretty rustic tables. Best off all the food, miraculously prepared on a small burner, is outstanding.
Breakfast and lunch plates are both served seven days a week, from 8 am – 4 pm. We are partial to the Two Eggs any style (ours are always ordered over medium and cooked perfectly), which comes with sourdough toast, greens and roast potatoes. Bonus on those potatoes: The Cliff makes it’s own ketchup, which we didn’t realize is something we need, but we do, for it is sublime. Other favorites on the breakfast side include the Nuevos Huevos Rancheros, and the “Build a Biscuit”which is a house-made Gruyere Biscuit, served with egg and cheese and your choice of add-ons. For lunch, there’s a nice selection of pressed sandwiches, wraps, seafood options, and salads. Everything is healthy and fresh, the service is sweet, and the coffee has a nice kick. Plenty of vegan and gluten-free choices, as well. Such a sweet spot in the Heights!!
