In a Rush? Forget Fast Food – Go to Ahri’s Kitchen

We want to give a quick shout out to Ahri’s Kitchen, a cozy Korean café nestled on a residential street in Hamilton Park. This family-owned business serves super-fresh, healthy Korean food that comes quickly, tastes fantastic and makes you feel good to boot. It’s an order at the counter situation, and the food comes fast, as do online orders.
The menu includes dumplings, ramen, handmade rice rolls and Korean BBQ. Most dishes are on the spicy side, if you like that sort of thing (which we do). The dumplings – vegetable or pork – are great for sharing, as are the Korean chicken wings, with scallions and sesame seeds. We’ve tried each of these dishes and love them all, but our favorite dish here is Bibimbop – a mix of rice, veggies, egg and your choice of protein, served hot or cold. Portions are plentiful, so we typically opt for the mini-version. Come for lunch Monday through Friday and you can pair it with an appetizer, one of four lunch specials offered on weekdays. Coming for dinner and planning to linger over a drink? Ahri’s is BYOB. Ahri’s Sweet Potato Banana Pudding is the one dessert on the menu and it does the trick – it’s delicious. Our friends in the neighborhood eat here religiously, and for good reason. Check it out!
