BBagels Joins the JC Bagel Elite
Aftermonths of anticipation, BBagels is open for business! Located downtown on Grove St., weekends at BBagels have found lines circling around the block since their soft open in early January. As anyone who has stood in line at Wonder Bagels on the weekend knows, another top bagel shop was sorely needed. The brothers sell 19 types of bagels including a gluten free option all of which are hand-rolled, kettle boiled and made fresh each morning. There are over 15 toppings to choose from including a vegan tofu cream cheese. Lox lovers, be sure to check out The Nova, with fresh Nova Lox, cream cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, onion and capers. The Big B is for serious appetites, stuffed with both bacon and sausage, scrambled egg, cheddar and a chipotle aioli.The lunch menu expands to include classics like tuna, chicken, egg and whitefish salad, served on a bagel, bread or scooped over a bed of greens. They also serve animpressive list of lunch staples including a Cheesesteak, a Cuban, an Italian-style hero and many iterations of chicken sandwiches. You can round out your meal with a coffee, soft drink or a delightful freshly made orange juice.
