West Side’s Delish is a Neighborhood Gem
There is such a positive sunny vibe at Delish Juice Bar, a cheerful and colorful juicery and café on West Side Ave. Yes, there is no shortage of shops in Jersey City selling fantastic cold-pressed juices and smoothies. Delish stands out for the sheer volume of options. Every combination imaginable is found here, far too many to name, but we really love the Bomba – beet, pineapple, carrot, ginger and turmeric with the optional sea moss add-in. If you are short on time, there are also cold-pressed juices pre-packaged and ready to go.
Beyond drinks, there is a full menu here that includes coffee drinks, a stacked all-day breakfast menu of eggs, pancakes, waffles and sandwiches, toasts (avocado, smoked salmon, egg, etc.), massive salads, burgers, and sweet (guava, nutella) and savory veggie, chicken and meat empanadas. There is plenty of comfortable seating and the staff is lovely, as is the crowd that comes here! And lest we forget they serve both ice cream and sorbet. It is literally a one-stop shop for every craving and such a great neighborhood spot.
