Two Forks Actually Given
Congratulations to the great crew behind No Forks Given, purveyors of one of the best chicken sandwiches in town, previously available at their beloved rotating food truck. These guys grew a loyal following for their affable service and truly awesome chicken sandwiches, tacos, salads, fries, and cheesesteaks, aptly described as comfort food with a global twist. After much effort and ado, they have landed in a cozy storefront downtown in the Village.
Their current menu of chicken sandwiches includes the spicy Peruvian, the Korean, the Buffalo, the Southern, the Ranch and the Italian. All are uniquely and perfectly spiced and are served on your choice of a Balthazar brioche or a bao bun. And don’t worry, vegetarians – the chicken can be substituted on all of these with panko fried tofu.
The new menu also includes a nice selection of cheesesteaks, a pulled pork tostada and more vegetarian options including a fried artichoke sandwich. The sides remain excellent – including salads and three versions of fries. Our favorite is those spiced with togarashi, spicy mayo, scallions, and sesame seeds.
No Forks Given is currently open Tuesday – Saturday from 11:30am – 8:30pm. While you can order delivery on Grubhub and UberEATS, these guys suggest the best option for now is to call ahead for pickup.
