A Fresh new Café on Erie

Congratulations to the lovely team at Café Dolma on the opening of their new coffee shop, Café Tabarka. It is located downtown on Erie Street in the spot where 9Bar Café used to be.

The redesign of the space finds it so sunny, pristine and welcoming. Rows of white tables, each adorned with a simple sprig of holiday greenery, invite you to come in and take a break from the busy clatter outside (this month in particular). That said, Café Tabarka is also an ideal place to work remotely with good laptop setups and plenty of places to connect.

The Café serves Kobrick coffee and makes your standard coffee drinks as well as some specialties like the Caramel-Vanilla and the Golden Turmeric Tea Lattes. For eats, they are currently serving croissants, pastries, mini-beignets, brownies and cakes. Vegan and Gluten-free options are available as well. Fun fact – Tabarka is actually the name of a coastal town in Northwestern Tunisia, close to the Algerian border.  This is where the beautiful tile in Café Dolma was sourced from – hence the name of this new café.

Café Tabarka is currently open 7 days a week with fluctuating hours. There is currently no online presence for updates – so just pop on in for a well-deserved coffee break this December.
