Top-notch takeout food in Jersey City. That was and is the singular mission of Ghost Truck Kitchen. Operating out of a compact storefront on Varick Street since April ’19, Ghost Truck owner Andrew Martino and his team maintain that mission via high quality ingredients, eco-friendly and leak-free packaging, and smart technology that lets you order your food to be made from scratch right before you receive it. That includes the option to order your food days ahead of delivery. Whatever delivery option you choose, your food is cooked minutes before you show up. Walk up orders are also available through their outdoor kiosk.

Ghost Truck’s menu is diverse, aimed to satisfy households with different culinary desires and to take the pain out of the whole “what are we eating tonight” conversation. The menu intentionally reflects a group of food trucks come to life in one spot (hence the name). Offered under one roof -  vegan dishes, a variety of grilled wings (only place in JC to get your takeout wings grilled, btw), spicy noodles, Asian sandwiches, veggie burgers, salads and salad bowls, garlicky apps, special sides and desserts.

Current hours are Tuesday – Thursday from 4 – 10 pm, Friday – Sunday 12 – 10 pm. Order online directly through their website – https://www.hellogtk.com/.  You can also order through Grubhub or Seamless but be aware that those sites take a cut. When possible, order directly through small businesses like Ghost Truck to avoid that!
