Top Chef Fans, Head to Hoboken!
Fans of both fine dining and talent-based reality TV, have we got an event for you and it’s happening at Hudson Table in Hoboken.
Here’s the story. 20-30 guests sign up to watch two Chefs, each armed with their own hand-picked Sous Chef, design and execute a three-course meal in 40 minutes. Chefs are welcome to be as creative as possible with one requirement: the use of some quirky designated ingredients of the hosts’ choice. After enjoying these two meals consisting of an appetizer, entrée and dessert, guests are asked to rank the Chef contestants based on presentation and taste. Finally, the guests present their opinions live to the Chefs before votes are tallied and a winner is announced.
Seats go fast for this event, which is held multiple times a week for either brunch or dinner. Log on to the website to book and be foretold – tickets sell fast.
While this show is not currently televised, you can see it happening in the future so get in while the going is good! And if compulsory judging of very talented chefs live and in person is not your bag, worry not.
