Sushi pizza. Sushi lollipops. Ramen tacos stuffed with pork belly, pineapple and cilantro. The softest Shrimp Dumplings ever. Crazy fresh sushi and expertly made ramen. A family-run business that passed on from father to daughter and grew in the middle of the pandemic. What’s not to love about Ichiban-To-Go?

In 1997, The Chuang family behind Ichiban opened their catering business in Princeton, quickly becoming the go-to luxury sushi caterer for some of the biggest names in the NYC restaurant world (Cipriani, The Plaza, Mandarin Oriental). Flash forward to 2020 and they opened their first brick and mortar location on Palisades Ave. While quickly became a go-to spot in the Heights for fabulous, healthy Chinese and Japanese takeout, The Chuang family continued their overall mission to create great food that fosters the larger community. In the height of the pandemic, the business donated over 50,000 masks, 500 gowns, 500 safety goggles and 250 bento boxes of delicious food to hospitals across New Jersey and New York.

Located at 365 Palisades Ave., Ichiban-To-Go is open for takeout and delivery Monday – Sunday from 12pm to 8:30pm and Friday-Saturday from 12pm to 9:30pm.
