Looking to switch up your fitness routine this Fall? Consider checking out Jersey City Muay Thai. If you are not familiar, Muay Thai is also known as Thai Boxing. It is a martial art and combat sport that has benefits for anyone into self-defense and/or improving their health and fitness.
There is something for everyone here. There is a full-on program for teenagers, an advanced program for experienced fighters, and a comprehensive program for beginners looking to learn the sport.
We were most interested in the beginner program and loved the fact that there are so many ancillary benefits, including full access to the gym when not in class. The beginner program is a dynamic course designed to teach offensive and defensive techniques while losing weight and toning the body. The trainers will help you with your diet, while they teach you step-by-step how to work the bags and learn pad work. Every student receives personal mitt training with the coaches in the ring every class. This class is offered 3 times a day and for $125 a month and for 3 months, the weight and cardio rooms are open to you.
