Order Up! Sublime Pizza from ITA Italian Kitchen
ITA Italian Kitchen opened in March at 682 Bergen Ave, to a highly receptive McGinley/JSQ neighborhood. Chef Dylan Golden brings his NYC experience (Wallsé, Upland, High Street on Hudson) and an inspired culinary vision that takes cues from the best of both old school and modern Italian cuisine. His lovely menu is currently abbreviated and available for pickup and delivery orders. Thankfully some of Chef Golden’s biggest stars - his 12-inch Neapolitan style pizzas with house-made dough, are on that menu. The options are classic Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas, the Funghi (mushroom pizza elevated with pickled peppers, scallions, truffle oil and a bechamel sauce), the Prosciutto Di Parma (also with bechamel sauce, plus arugula), the Artichoke (topped with a cream sauce, spinach, and two cheeses), the Pizza Rossa (red pizza with fresh garlic), the Diavola (red sauce with capocollo, olives, cheese and chili oil), the Italian Stallion (red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, salami, capocollo and broccolini), the Sausage and Kale (with cheese and bechamel sauce), and the Antidote (sundried tomato, fior de latte, red onion and salami). Oh and one more pizza. Vegans, you are all set. The Vegan is a pesto pizza with squash, red onion and home-made cashew cream. These pizzas all deserve the raves bestowed upon them.
Other current delivery options include meatballs, gluten-free wings, house-made spaghettini pasta, rigatoni Bolognese, a lovely trio of salads, and tiramisu and fresh-baked cookies for dessert.
