Phoebe’s Picks – Waggy Butts Mobile Grooming
Stepping in this month for a busy Phoebe is guest writer and pal Patches, a 13-year-old cockapoo residing in Hamilton Park. He and his owner would like to send an appreciative shout out to Raymond and Meredith, the duo behind Waggy Butts Mobile Grooming.
A long winter left this sweet, shaggy boy in need of a serious makeover and other hygiene-related services. This was a month ago, when Patches’ regular groomer (along with all brick and mortar dog salons) were closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Waggy Butts came highly recommended from his dog walker, and they did not disappoint. Raymond and Meredith parked on the corner of the block and provided regular text updates on Patches’ progress. After an initial consultation, they gave him a shampoo, cut, and blow dry, brushed his teeth, trimmed his nails, and took care of the less luxurious details (expressing glands). Patches came out pleased as punch, tail wagging indeed.
Dog groomers are now officially re-opened for business in JC, following the standard COVID-19 safety guidelines of all other essential businesses. Thanks to all of you for doting after our dogs. You are a great group, JC dog groomers. Raymond and Meredith, Patches thanks you and will see you again!
