Phoebe’s Picks – Pride with your Pup!
Now in its 24th year, the Jersey City Pride Festival will be held on Saturday August 24th from 1PM to 9PM at the Grove Street PATH Plaza and Newark Avenue. There are also a lot of run up events prior to the big day including Phoebe’s favorite!
Yes, it’s the 7th annual Pride with your Pup, which will be held on Sunday August 18 from 2pm – 6pm at the Golden Cicada on Grand St. Hang out in their outdoor space, listen to hot tunes by DJ Tim Dawg and enjoy drink specials and munchies. The day’s festivities will culminate with the Doggy Pride Costume Contest. The doggies will dress up in their finest Pride gear to strut their stuff and compete for prizes. Note: Extra points for owners who also dress to impress and remember you don’t have to be a dog owner to join in on all the fun. Roof!
Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance at https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets/jerseycitypride/pride-with-your-pup or at the door for $15.
