Meta Bodywork’s bright and airy studio is located at the Barrow Mansion. The team of massage therapists focus on both holistic and cutting-edge techniques to address and solve ailments caused by the way we live and work today (see above, fellow victims of text neck!). They focus on issues related to common conditions like back and neck pain, postural imbalances, headaches. sports injuries, pregnancy-related pains, sciatica, hip pain and the like.
The experienced team at Meta Bodywork collectively have many years of experience between them. While they all have their own specialties and disciplines, they share a uniform resolve to make us feel better. They describe themselves as unhurried (services include a personal consultation and care after your session) and unconventional. Take for example the 60-minute South Bath, during which vibrational therapy instruments (chimes, tuning forks, etc.) are used to foster a relaxing meditative environment. Massage services include therapeutic bodywork, myofascial, lymphatic drainage and pre-natal. Meta Bodywork is open seven days a week from 10am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 9pm on weekends.
