An Ode to Froth on Franklin
Froth on Franklin Coffee and Espresso Bar has been in the Heights since 2017 and they just keep getting better and better. They have settled into a nice routine of regularly winning friendly online debates about who has the best hot or iced coffee or latte in town. That said, our favorite summer drink here is the iced Lavender Lemonade. This is a trendy summer refresher which we have sampled aplenty at various cafes and trust, this one is top notch! Add to that their excellent selection of Italian and American-style pastries and it is an overall win-win in a neighborhood with such great food and drink options. They are open 7 days a week from 8am – 4pm, their coffee is locally roasted here in JC (Kobrick), and the staff just couldn’t be nicer. Back to the pastries – we are crazy for their cinnamon rolls, but those are just the tip of the Franklin on Froth iceberg. The staff’s Italian roots are on full display with the number of sweet pastries served in the morning but there are plenty of savory options as well. Franklin on Froth may be a tide off the beaten path if you’re walking the main streets of the Heights but believe us, it is worth the tiny detour! Drink, eat and be merry!
