The dreamiest cake shop has arrived in Bergen-Lafayette! Bon Vivant is a luxury boutique cake shop beloved fam in NYC’s society and creative circles for their signature and camera ready petit fours. They recently relocated from the Upper East Side to their new home in a beautiful sunlit corner at the base of 295 Johnston.
Bon Vivant built a devout and loyal following that resulted in desserts being featured in high-profile film and fashion shoots as well as at luxurious hi-end parties. Owner Maya Hormis honed her craft at Le Cordon Bleu and today serves luxe flavors of petit fours like Bourbon Vanilla, Lavender Bloom, Rose Petal, Lemon Zest, Coffee Cream and Chocolat Sacher. They are also available to buy individually and also in larger quantities up to 30. There is delivery service to NYC and they can also be packaged and shipped nationwide. Talk about a perfect Valentine’s Day gift.
Bon Vivant has more patisserie treats including mini cakes flavored with fruit or chocolate, tartes and tartines, shortbread cookies and our absolute favorite, the ridiculously moist and flavorful Baba au Rum (rum cake). There is a full selection of specialty coffee and teas to quaff.
Finally, you have to check out just how very, very pretty this shop is! The lavender walls, floor to ceiling windows, glamorous chandeliers and elegant marble tables are like a chic Parisian café come to life, only better as Bon Vivant is now a part of beautiful Bergen-Lafayette!
