Cream Brings a Cool JC Vibe to Retail Cannabis

Since medical and recreational sale of cannabis became legal in New Jersey, dispensaries keep popping up throughout JC. Most if not all of these new businesses are selling the same lines, ranges and strains of product – edibles, tinctures, topicals,  flower, devices, etc.

One of the newest is Cream Dispensary, located downtown on Newark Ave. in the former home of the restaurant Hard Grove. This new dispensary and the team behind it  strive to distinguish themselves via community interaction and education.

“We will sell a large selection of premium cannabis flower products and edibles but in a modern and edgy environment that is intended to reflect the vibrant and diverse culture of Jersey City,” explains Heinrich Badenhorst, one of Cream’s three owners. Indeed, the inside of the dispensary is stylish and chic, and beyond cannabis sales there are educational workshops and even live DJs setting the vibe on somedays.

What’s also nice here is the ability to actually locate and touch products before purchasing – a new boon in the local cannabis shopping experience. The staff loves to talk customers through product choices (not to say that other JC dispensaries do not!) and speak openly about what someone is trying to achieve, be it medical or recreational. They are super knowledgeable, friendly, and uninterested in overselling. If you are in this market, check them out!
