DomoDomo Team Opens New Korean at Harborside
Brian Kim and Jae Park, the super-talented brother duo behind Harborside’s DomoDomo are it again. Yay. Their new Korean restaurant ONDO is located at 3 2nd St. and offers traditional Korean cuisine along with modern interpretations and reworkings of dishes. Expect the same elevated level of food, design, and experience that you find at DomoDomo.
The menu is distinguished between dishes being cold, warm, and hot, as ONDO is the Korean word for temperature. The philosophy behind ONDO is that temperature influences our general quality of life and comfort. No argument here. When it comes to food it directly relates to quality of taste and freshness. The extensive menu of plates has something for any culinary-focused vegan, vegetarian, fish and/or meat lover. The drinks list is excellently all over the place – Korean Spirts and Cocktails plus a full list of beer and wine. Make sure to leave room for desserts, too.
Like DomoDomo, the physical space is perfectly matched to the culinary aesthetic. It manages to be warm while incorporating both modern and traditional elements. In short, happy to see these excellent restauranters are successfully bringing more buzz to the Waterfront. Go!
