Per Governor Phil Murphy’s executive order, all 6.3 million voters in New Jersey should receive a mail-in ballot. Mail-in ballots should arrive by October 5 and if you will return your ballot via mail, it must be sent back/postmarked by Nov. 3. You can also send your ballot back via drop boxes located throughout the City – 1 for each Ward. Each box will be guarded with 24-hour surveillance. Mayor Fulop has announced the location of each box, which you will find below. Voting Drop-Box locations for each Ward

Ward A: Jersey City Public Library, Earl A. Morgan Branch -1841 JFK Blvd.
Ward B: St. Peter’s University – 2641 JFK Blvd.
Ward C: Hudson County Plaza – 257 Cornelison Ave.
Ward D: North District Police Station – 282 Central Ave.
Ward E: City Hall – 280 Grove St.
Ward F: City Hall Annex – 1 Journal Sq. Plaza

You can also deliver your ballot to a poll worker on election day or vote in person if you choose. If you do so you are required to wear a mask. If you have not voted in New Jersey before, you must bring an ID and proof of residency is also recommended. If you have voted in New Jersey before, it is still recommended to bring these items as well (though not required).
