Jersey City Landmarks Come to Life!
This holiday season, we are committed to shopping small and local. This extends to online businesses too, where there are so many treasures to behold. LingChen Art, for one. The talented artist behind this Etsy shop makes gorgeous, detailed paintings recreating iconic (or on the way to becoming iconic) images from NYC and Northern New Jersey. The artist was a longtime resident of Jersey City before relocating to Montclair. Her love and knowledge of JC is so apparent and lovingly rendered in her art pieces. Whether shopping or not, do yourself a favor and look at the over 65 paintings she has created that represent Jersey City. They are all fantastic. While it is hard to pick our favorite pieces, we did. The renderings of Van Vorst Park, the David Bowie mural and J. Owen Grundy Park make us swoon.
