Maggie’s Farm Keeps Keeping On
Last month we had the opportunity to write about Australian coffee culture landing here in JC when talking about Gold Roast Café in the Heights. This month we want to mention another Australian inspired spot that is located downtown – Maggie’s Farm Espresso Café.
Owner Sam de Burgh comes from Perth, Australia. His MO was to create a café that like in Australia, serves coffee as the main event but with really good food too.
The range of drip coffees, espressos and lattes all start with La Colombe Coffee. The food offerings include a (perfectly done) smashed avocado toast, breakfast wraps with free range eggs, spinach, and avocado, a country brioche egg sandwich with breakfast hash, salads, sandwiches, soups, cookies, and little Aussie-style dessert treats.
