Mi Mariachi!
TMG clients and friends in the JSQ area have been steadily hounding us to check out and give props to Mi Mariachi Taqueria, a lovely, low-key and authentic Mexican spot situated on a quiet section of Sip Avenue. We just made it for lunch this past week and now fully understand the fandom. We had a good feeling walking in, with the orange walls covered in mariachi hats and Mexican-inspired knickknacks, the stream of students and local workers settled in for lunch, and the friendly and attentive staff. We were pre-informed about the greatness of the chorizo, chicken, or pork stuffed tacos, burritos, or tortas, all coming with delicious sides of sauces, lettuce, beans, avo and cheese. We concur how delicious everything was, and our vegetarian dining companion can vouch for just how good the green, tangy salsa and chips was, along with the hearty cheese quesadilla. The prices are fantastic, the staff is so sweet, and we can share a special tip from our JSQ friends. The tamales are out of this world, and sell out fast in the morning. So get there early, and grab a great breakfast sandwich while you do!
