Reclaim the Crafty Kid in You
Looking to slow down on the screen scroll this year? Maybe Luna de Papel can help. It is a lovely hand-craft art studio in Bergen-Lafayette with classes for both kids and adults. Peruvian-born owner Ruth Salas has her studio stocked with paints, stickers, natural materials, papers, etc. – everything you need to decompress and find your inner child again. For current children, there are a plethora of classes offered – After-School workshops, Mommy and Me Classes, school break and summer camps, etc. Adults, we can schedule a C’re After Hours for Adults Sessions. They are held by request on Fridays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. It is a craft and sip event, designed to help you break out your craftiness in a fun, socially interactive environment. For the sipping part, this is BYOB with snacks provided. We think it is a nice way to start off the year – getting off the phone and supporting a local Latinx women-owned enterprise.
