Love The Clutter recently opened in Hamilton Park. Owner/Artist Sarah worked for various fashion houses before taking the entrepreneurial leap and launching her own homeware line, first as a pop-up shop followed by a Brooklyn brick and mortar store before finally relocating to her location here in JC.
Walking into her shop is a sensory salve. Take in the soothing smell of incense while perusing the artfully arranged candles, candleholders, pillows, vases, preserved flowers, throws, clothing, bags and more. Some of these wares Sarah designs in her nearby studio, others are ethically sourced from far away regions in places including India and Morocco.
We are all in for more bespoke design stores like this in Jersey City. We love watching artists and entrepreneurs putting down their creative retail roots here. Congratulations, Sarah!
