Small Town Charm, Big Time Selection at Washington General Store
Since opening in 2014, this lovely Hoboken home and gift shop has become a neighborhood favorite. Located on Washington Street, this store packs a lot of punch and product inside its cozy confines.
That includes a large range of essential oils, diffusers, and candles. We particularly love the garden accessories – on our last visit we picked up a gorgeous pair of floral-patterned garden shears and a set of citronella and sea salt tea candles. For the kitchen, there are plenty of kitchen accessories – some kitschy and fun (who does not want a Golden Girls coffee mug?) and some more seriously decorative, like the stunning ceramic platters.
If you are looking for baby or toddler gifts, there is a whole wall devoted to them. This includes super-cute Hoboken onesies. In fact, there is a whole range of fun Hoboken-centric products – pillows, bags, shirts, plates, mugs etc. There are also plenty of adult-themed fun stuff, like barware, grown-up themed games, and seriously beautiful picture frames and art.
