Wicked Great Candles in Hoboken
In a saturated market of local candle purveyors, Hoboken’s Wicked Scents has carved out a nice niche for themselves. The affable owner Miguel is a serious candle afficionado and really knows his stuff. His store places equal emphasis on nationally known cult and prestige brands along with up-and-coming local and female-made brands. Wicked Scents’ offerings include handmade, vegan, soy-free, clean burning candles that are safe and suitable for family, home and office.
Wicked Scents sells 24 brands of candles, many of which are beautifully pre-packaged in gift sets (check out their website to see offers on gift subscriptions with a nice discount). Then there are the candles in cocktail glasses by Paddywax which are just too pretty to pass up. Some of our favorite large-scale brands here include Apotheke,Voluspa and Votivo which as always come in the prettiest packaging. That said, it is so pleasing to come here and discover a wholly unique new brand.
More than just an amazing array of candles, Wicked Scents also has an excellent selection of diffusers and bath products. They also recently redesigned the shop and the results as well as the products are so worth a visit.
Wicked Scents is open Monday – Friday from 11am – 7pm, Saturday from 10am -7pm and Sunday from 10am – pm.
